Mythical Squishy Premium Collection: Complete Pokémon TCG Guide

The Mythical Squishy Premium Collection is one of the most unusual Pokémon TCG products from the Sword & Shield era. Instead of focusing only on cards, this collection combines three Mythical Pokémon, three collectible squishy figures, and eight Pokémon TCG booster packs.

The featured Pokémon are Mew, Celebi, and Victini. Each appears as both a Pokémon V card and a soft, squishy figure, creating a product that blends Pokémon TCG collecting with a fun display experience. Pokémon officially launched the collection in November 2021. 

For collectors, the product offers three fixed Pokémon V cards and three matching figures. For players, the eight booster packs provide an opportunity to discover additional cards from the included expansions.

What Is the Mythical Squishy Premium Collection?

The Mythical Squishy Premium Collection is a Pokémon TCG premium product built around three Mythical Pokémon:

• Mew
• Celebi
• Victini

Each Pokémon is represented in two ways: as a Pokémon V card and as a soft squishy figure.

The collection also includes eight Pokémon TCG booster packs and a code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.

Mythical Squishy Premium Collection at a glance

• Featured Pokémon: Mew, Celebi, Victini
• Pokémon V cards: 3
• Squishy figures: 3
• Booster packs: 8
• Digital code card: 1

The combination makes this product quite different from a standard Elite Trainer Box, booster bundle, or regular collection box.

What Is Included?

The Mythical Squishy Premium Collection contains:

• 1 Mew V card
• 1 Celebi V card
• 1 Victini V card
• 1 Mew squishy figure
• 1 Celebi squishy figure
• 1 Victini squishy figure
• 8 Pokémon TCG booster packs
• 1 Pokémon TCG Online code card

These contents are confirmed by Pokémon’s official product listing.

The three Pokémon V cards are fixed contents, while the cards inside the booster packs are randomized.

Mew V

One of the central cards in the collection is Mew V.

Mew is one of the most recognizable Mythical Pokémon in the franchise. Its mysterious nature and connection to the origins of many Pokémon make it a particularly popular character among collectors.

The Mew V included in this collection features the X Ball attack. Pokémon explains that X Ball increases in power according to the amount of Energy attached to both players’ Active Pokémon.

This makes Mew V interesting from both a collecting and gameplay perspective.

The Mew Squishy

Alongside the Mew V card is a soft Mew squishy.

The figures are made from soft foam and can be squeezed before returning to their original shape. Pokémon describes the squishies as collectible companions that can be used during a Pokémon TCG match or simply enjoyed as Pokémon merchandise.

The Mew figure gives the product a playful element that is not normally found in card-focused collections.

Celebi V

The second featured Pokémon is Celebi V.

Celebi is a Mythical Pokémon associated with time travel and the forests of the Pokémon world.

Its V card features Find a Friend, which allows the player to search their deck for two Pokémon and put them into their hand.

Celebi V also has Line Force, an attack that becomes stronger depending on the number of Pokémon on the player’s Bench. Pokémon specifically highlights both of these attacks in its product description.

This makes Celebi V another card with a clear gameplay function rather than simply being a collectible promo.

The Celebi Squishy

The collection pairs Celebi V with a matching Celebi squishy figure.

The figure follows the same soft-foam design as the Mew and Victini squishies.

For collectors, having the three figures together creates a complete Mythical Pokémon display.

Victini V

The third Pokémon featured in the collection is Victini V.

Victini is a Mythical Pokémon associated with victory and Fire-type energy.

Its Spreading Flames attack allows a player to attach up to three Energy cards from their discard pile to their Pokémon. Victini V also has Energy Burst, which deals damage based on the Energy attached to both Active Pokémon.

This gives Victini V a different gameplay identity from Mew V and Celebi V.

The Victini Squishy

The Victini V card is accompanied by a matching Victini squishy.

The soft figure completes the trio of Mythical Pokémon merchandise included in the collection.

Together, the three squishies create one of the most distinctive visual features of the product.

The Three Mythical Pokémon

The main appeal of the collection comes from the combination of three well-known Mythical Pokémon.

Pokémon	Card	Collectible Figure
Mew	Mew V	Mew squishy
Celebi	Celebi V	Celebi squishy
Victini	Victini V	Victini squishy

Each Pokémon therefore appears twice in the fixed contents: once as a TCG card and once as a physical squishy figure.

This makes the collection particularly easy to display as a complete trio.

Eight Pokémon TCG Booster Packs

The collection also contains eight Pokémon TCG booster packs.

These packs add a traditional Pokémon TCG opening experience to a product that otherwise focuses heavily on its fixed Pokémon merchandise.

The exact pack selection can vary by product market and distribution. Some collector listings identify the English release as containing packs from Sword & Shield-era expansions such as Rebel Clash, Battle Styles, Chilling Reign, and Evolving Skies.

Because the booster packs are randomized, the cards inside them are not guaranteed.

The booster packs can add:

• Pokémon cards
• Pokémon V
• Pokémon VMAX
• Trainer cards
• Holofoil cards
• Special-rarity cards
• Cards from different Sword & Shield expansions

The fixed Mew V, Celebi V, and Victini V cards are separate from these randomized booster-pack contents.

Why the Booster Packs Matter

The eight packs make the collection more than a merchandise box.

Collectors can enjoy the fixed contents first and then open the booster packs to discover additional cards.

This creates two different experiences:

Fixed collection:
Mew V, Celebi V, Victini V, and the three squishy figures.

Randomized opening:
Eight booster packs containing cards from their respective expansions.

That combination is one of the defining characteristics of the Mythical Squishy Premium Collection.

Mythical Squishy Premium Collection for Collectors

This product offers several different collecting opportunities.

Mythical Pokémon collectors

Mew, Celebi, and Victini are all Mythical Pokémon, making the collection suitable for collectors who focus on this category.

Mew collectors

The collection provides both a Mew V card and a matching Mew squishy.

Celebi collectors

Celebi V and the Celebi squishy provide two different ways to add Celebi to a collection.

Victini collectors

Victini V is accompanied by the matching Victini figure.

Pokémon merchandise collectors

The soft figures make the collection different from conventional Pokémon TCG products.

Mythical Squishy Premium Collection for Display

The three squishy figures are a major part of the product’s display appeal.

Rather than placing the figures away in storage, collectors can display Mew, Celebi, and Victini together.

A simple display can include:

• Mew squishy
• Celebi squishy
• Victini squishy
• Mew V
• Celebi V
• Victini V

The matching cards and figures create a unified Mythical Pokémon theme.

Mythical Squishy Premium Collection for Players

Although the figures are aimed primarily at collectors and Pokémon fans, the product also includes three Pokémon V cards with gameplay abilities.

Mew V

Its X Ball attack scales with the Energy attached to both Active Pokémon.

Celebi V

Find a Friend searches for two Pokémon, while Line Force scales with the number of Pokémon on the Bench.

Victini V

Spreading Flames can recover up to three Energy cards from the discard pile and attach them to Pokémon.

The eight booster packs can also provide additional cards that players can explore.

Mythical Squishy Premium Collection vs. Elite Trainer Box

The Mythical Squishy Premium Collection has a very different format from an Elite Trainer Box.

Feature	Mythical Squishy Premium Collection	Elite Trainer Box
Featured Pokémon	Mew, Celebi, Victini	Varies
Pokémon V cards	3	Usually 1 promo
Squishy figures	3	No
Booster packs	8	Varies
Sleeves	No	Yes
Dice	No	Yes
Energy cards	No dedicated pack	Yes
Main focus	Pokémon + figures + packs	Packs + gameplay accessories

The Mythical Squishy Collection is therefore more merchandise-focused, while an ETB is designed around booster packs and Pokémon TCG accessories.

Mythical Squishy Premium Collection vs. Booster Bundle

A Booster Bundle focuses almost entirely on booster packs.

The Mythical Squishy Premium Collection combines booster packs with fixed cards and physical figures.

Feature	Mythical Squishy Premium Collection	Booster Bundle
Booster packs	8	Typically 6
Fixed Pokémon cards	3	Usually none
Squishy figures	3	No
Main focus	Collection + merchandise	Booster opening
Featured Pokémon	Mew, Celebi, Victini	Depends on expansion

The Mythical Squishy product therefore provides considerably more fixed content.

The Sword & Shield Connection

The Mythical Squishy Premium Collection belongs to the Sword & Shield-era Pokémon TCG product lineup, even though the exact booster packs included can come from different expansions within that era.

The three Pokémon V cards also reflect the Pokémon V mechanic that became a major part of the Sword & Shield generation.

This makes the collection relevant to collectors building Sword & Shield-era sealed-product collections.

Is the Mythical Squishy Premium Collection Good for a Pokémon Collection?

The product offers several distinct items in one package.

Collectors receive:

• Three Pokémon V cards
• Three matching squishy figures
• Eight booster packs
• A digital code card

The collection also brings together three Mythical Pokémon rather than focusing on one character.

This gives the product a clear theme that can fit into several different types of Pokémon collections.

Why Collect Mew, Celebi, and Victini?

The three featured Pokémon each have their own identity.

Mew is associated with mystery and the origins of Pokémon.

Celebi is associated with time travel and nature.

Victini is associated with victory and Fire-type energy.

Putting all three into one collection creates a broad Mythical Pokémon theme.

For collectors, the product can therefore work as a standalone display or as part of a larger Mythical Pokémon collection.

Does the Collection Have Promo Cards?

Yes.

The collection includes three Pokémon V cards featuring Mew V, Celebi V, and Victini V. Pokémon’s official product page lists all three as part of the fixed contents.

These are distinct from the cards found randomly inside the eight booster packs.

Does It Include Squishy Figures?

Yes.

The product contains three soft foam squishy figures:

• Mew
• Celebi
• Victini

The figures can be squeezed and then return to their original shape. Pokémon specifically describes them as soft, cuddly squishy toys.
