Meet Scarlet & Violet—pokemon tcg scarlet & violet paldean fates elite trainer box

pokemon tcg scarlet & violet paldean fates elite trainer box is a special Scarlet & Violet expansion focused heavily on Shiny Pokémon.

According to Pokémon’s official expansion information, the set contains more than 240 cards and features more than 100 Shiny Pokémon. It also introduces new Pokémon ex and several Shiny Tera Pokémon ex.

Among the Pokémon highlighted by the expansion are:

• Shiny Pikachu
• Shiny Tinkaton
• Shiny Ceruledge
• Shiny Dondozo
• Shiny Charizard ex
• Shiny Forretress ex
• Shiny Espathra ex
• Great Tusk ex
• Iron Treads ex

This gives Paldean Fates a very different identity from many standard Scarlet & Violet expansions.

Instead of focusing on one particular storyline or Pokémon family, the set gives collectors a large selection of Shiny Pokémon to discover.

---

The Return of Shiny Pokémon

The defining feature of Paldean Fates is the return of Shiny Pokémon to the Pokémon TCG.

Shiny Pokémon have alternate colorations compared with their standard appearances. Their unusual colors have made them a popular collecting theme across the Pokémon franchise.

Paldean Fates puts this theme at the center of the expansion.

Pokémon describes Shiny Pikachu as leading the way, followed by more than 100 additional Shiny Pokémon.

For collectors, this creates a large variety of cards to search for.

You can build a collection around:

• Shiny Pokémon
• Shiny Pokémon ex
• Shiny Tera Pokémon ex
• Illustration cards
• Full-art Supporter cards
• Pokémon ex
• Paldean Pokémon
• Favorite Pokémon in alternate colors

---

Shiny Mimikyu Promo Card

One of the defining features of the Paldean Fates Elite Trainer Box is the full-art foil promo card featuring Shiny Mimikyu.

The promo card is included directly with the ETB, so collectors do not need to find it randomly inside a booster pack.

Mimikyu is already one of the most recognizable Pokémon associated with the darker and more mysterious side of the franchise.

The Shiny version gives the character a different color palette while maintaining its familiar design.

The promo also connects directly with the ETB accessories because the included card sleeves feature Shiny Mimikyu.

This creates a consistent theme throughout the product.

---

Nine pokemon tcg scarlet & violet paldean fates elite trainer box

The standard Paldean Fates ETB contains nine booster packs.

Paldean Fates is a special expansion, and individual booster packs are not sold as standalone retail products in the usual way. Instead, the expansion’s packs are distributed through products such as Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Bundles, tins, and other collections.

This makes the ETB one of the original sealed formats through which collectors could open Paldean Fates packs.

Each pack is randomized, so the nine packs do not guarantee a specific Shiny Pokémon, rarity, or chase card.

Possible discoveries include:

• Shiny Pokémon
• Pokémon ex
• Shiny Tera Pokémon ex
• Illustration Rare cards
• Special Illustration Rare cards
• Full-art Supporters
• Other cards from the Paldean Fates expansion

The excitement comes from not knowing which cards will appear in each pack.

---

Shiny Charizard ex

One of the major collecting themes in Paldean Fates is Shiny Charizard ex.

Pokémon’s official expansion description specifically highlights Charizard as one of the Pokémon appearing as a Shiny Tera Pokémon ex.

Charizard has long been one of the most recognizable Pokémon in the TCG, so combining Charizard with the Shiny and Tera Pokémon mechanics gives collectors another major theme to explore.

The Paldean Fates ETB provides nine booster packs that can be opened while searching through the expansion’s large card pool.

---

Shiny Pikachu and Other Shiny Pokémon

Shiny Pikachu is another Pokémon highlighted by Pokémon as part of the Paldean Fates expansion.

It is joined by Pokémon such as:

• Tinkaton
• Ceruledge
• Dondozo
• Forretress
• Espathra
• Mimikyu
• And many others

With more than 100 Shiny Pokémon in the expansion, collectors have plenty of different Pokémon to discover.

This variety also makes Paldean Fates suitable for collectors who prefer completing themed subsets rather than concentrating on a single Pokémon.

---

Shiny Tera Pokémon ex

Paldean Fates also combines the Shiny Pokémon theme with Tera Pokémon ex.

The expansion features:

• Shiny Charizard ex
• Shiny Forretress ex
• Shiny Espathra ex

These cards bring together two important Scarlet & Violet concepts: Shiny Pokémon and Terastallization.

For collectors following the development of the Scarlet & Violet TCG era, these cards provide an interesting snapshot of how the generation’s mechanics were represented on cards.

---

65 Shiny Mimikyu Card Sleeves

The ETB includes 65 card sleeves featuring Shiny Mimikyu.

These sleeves have both a practical and collectible purpose.

Players can use them to protect a standard 60-card deck.

Collectors can also use them for favorite Shiny Pokémon cards or cards from the Paldean Fates expansion.

Having 65 sleeves means there are enough for a standard deck with a few extras available.

The Shiny Mimikyu artwork also makes the sleeves part of the overall visual identity of the ETB.

---

45 Pokémon TCG Energy Cards

The pokemon tcg scarlet & violet paldean fates elite trainer box includes 45 Pokémon TCG Energy cards.

Energy cards are fundamental to Pokémon TCG gameplay because they provide the resources Pokémon need to use their attacks.

For new players, these Energy cards can help when learning how to construct a deck.

For experienced players, they can be used as additional resources when testing different deck ideas.

The inclusion of Energy cards is one reason an ETB works as more than a simple booster-pack product.

---

Dice and Condition Markers

The Paldean Fates Elite Trainer Box also includes gameplay accessories.

These include:

• 6 damage-counter dice
• 1 competition-legal coin-flip die
• 2 plastic condition markers

The damage-counter dice help players track damage during a match.

The coin-flip die can be used for effects that require a coin flip.

The condition markers help players track Special Conditions affecting their Pokémon.

These accessories can be used during actual games or kept with the rest of a collection.

---

Paldean Fates Player’s Guide

A Player’s Guide to the Paldean Fates expansion is included with the ETB.

The guide provides a useful reference for the set and can help collectors understand the cards included in the expansion.

For collectors working toward a larger Paldean Fates collection, it can also serve as a checklist-style reference.

The guide complements the nine booster packs by giving players and collectors more context about the expansion.

---

Collector’s Box and Four Dividers

The ETB includes a collector’s box with four dividers.

This provides a convenient way to organize cards and accessories.

You can use the dividers to separate:

• Shiny Pokémon
• Pokémon ex
• Trainer cards
• Energy cards
• Duplicate cards
• Deck-building materials

The storage box is also useful for keeping the ETB accessories together.

For sealed-product collectors, the box forms part of the original product configuration.

---

Pokémon TCG Live Code Card

The pokemon tcg scarlet & violet paldean fates elite trainer box includes a code card for Pokémon Trading Card Game Live.

This adds a digital component to the physical Pokémon TCG experience.

Players who use Pokémon TCG Live can redeem eligible codes as part of their digital collection.

For collectors, the code card is also part of the original ETB contents.

---

The Pokémon Center edition includes:

• 11 Paldean Fates booster packs

• 1 Shiny Mimikyu promo with Pokémon Center logo
• Themed card sleeves
